Music News: 50 Understands Kanye's Grief

Losing a mother is never easy; especially when you shared a bond like Kanye did with his mother. 50 Cent actually seems (notice I said seems) very sympathetic to Kanye during this difficult time even though they shared a small beef over album sales earlier this year. When asked if he any words on the topic, he stated,

"That's really an unfortunate situation and I hope he can work his way through it..."It's good to see him actually touring: You can work your way back into a comfortable space where you can deal with those situations."

Work your way through it? 50 that sounds kinda heartless to ME.

Anyone who knows ME, knows I'm a HUGE Ne-Yo fan. When I heard that he had been added to R. Kelly's Double Up tour, my heart thumped with joy. Unfortunately, it seems that I have celebrated prematurely. According to the latest reports, Ne-Yo has been dropped from the Double Up tour due to some contractual issues. When asked about his dismal, here's what Ne-Yo had to say,

"I am disappointed that I won't be able to perform for my fans. I love being on stage in front of fans because of the immediate feedback you get... You know right away if they are feeling you; and they were really feeling our show."

Ne-Yo we are dissapointed too. I hope these matters can be resolved because I need my Sexy Love.

Retail News: Lululemon Going Sour?

Earlier this week retail yoga giant, Lululemon, was called to the carpet regarding the contents of some its products. Infused with seaweed, some of Lulu's products supposedly "release marine amino acids, minerals and vitamins into the skin upon contact with moisture." However, based on tests performed by an independent lab, none of these fabrics contain any traces of seaweed and many consumers feel slighted. Lululemon's prices are alot higher than their competition so I expect their products to be held to higher standard. When I hear this kind of news, it really makes me wonder, "Is a pair of yoga pants really worth $100?" You be the judge.
